"The Jewish Quarter"

At Synagogue Třebíč, artist Hesham Malik shall showcase his exhibition “The Jewish Quarter”. In collaboration with students, he explores new avenues for dialogue by questioning how the interpretation of an artwork would differ if it were described by the viewer instead of the artist.

The exhibition at the Jerusalem Synagogue, entitled 18, sheds light on lesser-known Jewish communities across the globe. The name 18 signifies the focus on 18 unique narratives. Through this exhibition, artist Hesham uncovers the rich stories of Jewish communities in Japan, Botswana, Iran, Gibraltar, and beyond.

The Museum of Chocen cordially invites you to embark on a captivating journey through nature, drawing inspiration from the profound verses of the Persian poet Rumi, as depicted in the artistic creations of Hesham Malik.

The Municipal Gallery in Vysoké Mýto presents an exhibition of paintings by artist Hesham Malik, which emphasize his artistic involvement in current and past events. The exhibition is presented by an author’s study of the stories of Jewish families from the region Vysoké Mýto.

"Life of a Box"

At the Museum of Papermaking in Duszniki-Zdrój, Poland, Hesham Malik showcases his innovative approach to art and design by incorporating renewable energy sources in his project “Life of a Box,” presenting a new form of his artistic expression.

The Sázava Monastery presents an extraordinary exhibition by Hesham Malik “Mother Mary”. His works openly pay homage to the motherhood of Virgin Mary.

"Kemet"

The name of the exhibition comes from the ancient name of the land of the Egyptians. “Kemet” literally “black land”. The word “kem” means “black” in ancient Egyptian. Visitors experienced the myths and realities of Ancient Egypt, the land of pharaohs and slaves.

The color black is the first pigment used by man in prehistoric times, made from a mixture of charcoal and iron – it was the beginning, but it also symbolically represents the end. White is considered pure, but white is often colored in some way, with subtle gradation.
